| Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia)
- Parliamentarians from Japan, South Korea , China and Russia and CIS countries agreed to
work together to provide better lives for their people through rational population
planning as the basis of national needs and culture. The representatives from each country
showed genuine concern and determination as they volunteered time and resources toward
their ultimate goal of excellent population management and development for the welfare of
their people. This pledge was
part of the deliberation of the three-day parliamentarian meeting of CIS and Far East
countries which was attended by parliamentarians from China, Japan, South Korea and Russia
on 1,2,3 August 1999 in Ulaanbaatar. |
