SUPPORT

UNFPA and IPPF provide basic financial support to AFPPD as does the Japan Trust Fund for Parliamentarians, which was established by the Government of Japan and UNFPA. Funding is also provided by the Hewlett Foundation, UNAIDS, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Japan, and the Japan International Cooperation of Welfare Services (JICWELS) for special programmes.

Special projects also received support from the Rockefeller Foundation, DANIDA, CIDA Canada and AUSAID.

The national parliaments and governments of Asia and the Pacific provide support for parliamentarian events held in their respective countries. The governments and parliamentarians of Cambodia, China, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam also provide support for national activities in their countries.

UNFPA country offices in Bangladesh, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam, also provide support for national level parliamentary activities.
