SUPPORT

UNFPA and the Government of Japan under Japan Trust Fund for parliamentarians provide basic financial support to AFPPD.

Funding has also been provided by the IPPF, Hewlett Foundation, Bill Gates Foundation, UNAIDS, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Japan, and the Japan International Cooperation of Welfare Services (JICWELS) for special programmes. Special projects also received support from the Rockefeller Foundation, DANIDA, CIDA Canada, AUSAID and OSI (Open Society Institution) and IFAD.

The national parliaments and governments in Asia and the Pacific, UNFPA Country Offices and other AID agencies also provide support for parliamentarian events held in their respective countries. The governments and parliament of Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and pacific countries also provide support for national activities in their countries.

UNFPA country offices in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Iran, Lao PDR, Mongolia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Pacific offices also provide support for national level parliamentary activities.
